In the past week the Lord has been giving me physical manifestations of prophetic things that he is doing, with the word, “look deeper, keep looking”. When Daniel saw the visions of the various creatures and wheels and other seemingly bazaar but natural things, the Lord told him to look deeper, to keep looking. So, with these natural experiences I have been looking deeper and I keep looking until I hear what God is saying, based on what I am seeing. This is the 3rd experience this week that I have had. One I have already shared about the computer, the second was a personal word for someone and this one I believe is for the body of Christ.

In my truck I have four gauges, 1) Temperature; 2) Fuel; 3) Oil; 4) Volts; honestly I have not paid much attention to these gauges, other than to make sure my car does not over heat and that my gas does not run out. So, I know a little bit about cars, but I am far from a mechanic. This morning, the Lord had me staring at these gauges, I was looking at them, wondering why they were catching my attention. What I noticed is that all of them were with arrows straight up. I had a half tank of gas, I was right in the middle on all the gauges, I do not know if this is normal, but I do know it was prophetic. So, with all the gauges point straight up, I said, Lord what are you trying to say? Here is what I heard.

The Lord said, “temperature gauge is the atmosphere; the fuel gauge is the anointing; the oil gauge is the authority; and the volts gauge is the action;” then the Lord said, “ALL SYSTEMS GO!” After I heard all systems go, the presence of God fell in my car, I was standing in glory, while sitting in the car. It was heavy, it was God. I knew in my spirit that everything is aligned and ready for God to make His move. There has been a lot said about what is coming, some say the greatest harvest we have ever known on earth and I say yes; some say a transfer of wealth from the wicked to the righteous and I say yes; others say judgment on America and persecution like we have never known and I say yes. I say yes, because whichever one it is or whichever combination of them that it is, I say yes, because I know it is God, for He told me, ALL SYSTEMS GO!

Look for the Seed in the Stump

Judgment is coming to the house of the Lord, as an act of grace and as a cleansing. He has to remove our idols, since we have not removed them ourselves. This judgment is going to leave cities desolate, houses uninhabited, and the land devastated. We are already seeing the beginning of this in pockets around the world with the Bokka Horan in Nigeria, the riots in St. Louis, MO, the ISIS in Iran, and the issues between Russia and the Ukraine. Isaiah 6 is the reality in which we are living right now. If you read Isiah 1-5 you will understand the context of Isaiah 6, but here is what Isaiah 6:8-12 says, “8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I. Send me!” 9 He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on listening, but do not perceive; Keep on looking, but do not understand.’ 10 “Render the hearts of this people insensitive, Their ears dull, And their eyes dim, Otherwise they might see with their eyes, Hear with their ears, Understand with their hearts, And return and be healed.” 11 Then I said, “Lord, how long ?” And He answered, “Until cities are devastated and without inhabitant, Houses are without people And the land is utterly desolate, 12 “The LORD has removed men far away, And the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.”

The Lord is saying, that Christians have become insensitive, dull of hearing and dim of eyes (calloused, deaf and blind). If you read Psalm 135:15-18 it says, “15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, made by human hands. 16 They have mouths, but cannot speak, eyes, but cannot see.17 They have ears, but cannot hear, nor is there breath in their mouths 18 Those who make them will be like them, and so will all who trust in them.” The evidence of our idolatry is plain to see, so our judgment is inevitable. We need this judgment, for the new wineskin to come and the new wine to be poured out. Judgment is an act of grace, it is actually good news, for God loves us so much He has to discipline us, for we have chosen not to repent.

So, as we see these things happening all around the world and the news broadcasts the judgment of God, we are not to become afraid, actually we are to look for the stump. When the land is laid desolate, look for the stump; when the houses are without people (this actually is referring to churches, of which we are seeing a steady decline of church attendance), look for the stump; what is happening to the world is because the church has not obeyed the voice of God, the commands of God, so we are under the discipline of God, but look for the stump. Why? Because Isaiah 6:13 says, “13 “Yet there will be a tenth portion in it, And it will again be subject to burning, Like a terebinth or an oak Whose stump remains when it is felled. The holy seed is its stump.”

The holy seed is in the stump! God is going to remove all the idols, but there is a seed in the stump, it only takes one seed to start a brand new harvest. The seed is in the stump, look for it in the midst of all the devastation you see, all the desolation you notice. Look for the seed in the stump!

Prophetic News From Malaysia                                      August 14, 2014

After being back in Malaysia again for three weeks there are three things which I have noticed that the Lord spoke to me about.

1. The Haze – there is a terrible haze across the entire nation, but more so in the Klang Valley in Kuala Lumpur where the seat of government is.  It comes and goes in intensity.  There are days when the visibility is not too bad and then there are strings of days when you can only see a very short distance due to the intense haze.  It is often accompanied by a burning smell as well.

The haze is representative of the impaired sight and vision of the nation.  It hides the sun, the moon and the stars and it is very hard to navigate in, let alone to set a course forward for the future.  It clouds the sight of the people and they can not see clearly or rightly understand what is going on around them.  Nothing is made clear and everything is veiled by a cloud deception and deceit. And so where is the light in the midst of all this?  It seems to be hidden under a bushel basket or locked behind closed doors for fear of the authorities.

Pray for the light to shine. Pray for wisdom and boldness.  Pray for selflessness.

2. A Drought –  There is a great drought in the Klang Valley.  The levels in the reservoirs are at critical low levels as there has been negligible rain for an extended period of time.  It is hot, dry and dusty. There is a drought of truth, justice and righteousness across the entire land.  Corruption and bribery have become the standards.  There seems to be no way other than the way of darkness and deception that is offered.

The heavens have been shut up and there is little to no rain to water the land. In the same way there is a great drought of the full counsel of God’s word.  Even as the rain is being withheld so the word of God has been withheld from so many in the church and those outside the church.  There are a masses of people who are thirsty for living water that will give them a hope and a future. It is the truth that will set people free.  It is the love of God seen through His followers that will draw others to Jesus. It is the forgiveness of others even as we have been forgiven that will show the way to Jesus saving grace. Freely we have been given, may we too freely give, by the grace of God.

Pray for reconciliation among the people groups, the denominations, and one another.  Pray for a love to permeate the people of God to truly love others as they themselves would want to be loved.

3. Water Rationing – There was water rationing earlier in the year due to the drought. The powers to be at this time however say there is no need for rationing as of yet.  They are going to seed the clouds and hope for rain.

There seems to be a rationing of not only the word of God as man decides what will be told,to who and who will do it, but there is also a rationing of the power and presence of God.  God has put this into man’s hands that he might manifest Himself  through his people, however man has decided he will ration it out as he sees fit.  If he does not believe in tongues or healing or God manifesting his presence through the gifts of the Holy Spirit then man does not allow it.  Or man decides to what degree God can manifest his presence and when and to who.  In such a way God is rationed out  according to man’s desires or understanding.  The problem is that the people are dying because they cannot  live on  the limited amount that is being metered out.

Pray for man to let God be God.  Pray for an increase of faith.  Pray that man would be secure in God.

Pray that – His Kingdom come, His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Knock Off of the Original

Knock Off of the Original

Acts 2:42 “They devoted themselves to the apostles teachings, to the breaking of bread and to prayer…”

One of the fun things about living in Malaysia was being able to experience the different cultures. From the variety of foods to the many shopping opportunities. Malaysia is a very diverse country with a lot of opportunities to see, hear and smell a variety of cultures in one country. One place I used to enjoy going and would always bring friends who visited to, was Petaling Street. Petaling Street was about 4 blocks of shopping, but it was fair style. There were booths lined up and down the streets with food vendors, jewelry sales, clothes and pursues, lots and lots of purses. Then men on Petaling Street loved seeing a white person come down the street, for they were convinced we were tourists with money, so the prices would be jacked up way beyond the asking price for the locals. I lived there, so I knew what was going on, so when they tried to jack the price, by speaking in the local language, I would speak the language in return and then say, alright now, let’s talk local prices. For my American friends, it is similar to Tijuana in many ways, where you can bargain the price.

Petaling Street is famous for having knock off merchandise. Coach purses, Louis Vuitton wallets, Rolex watches, Nike tennis shoes, Beats headphones, and to the naked eye you may think they are real, but the price gives them away. They may start off saying they want 250 Malaysian Ringgitt, which is about $75 USD for a Coach pursue, but you can get them down to as low as 50 Malaysian Ringgitt if you know how to talk yourself into a more appropriate price range. Half the fun of shopping there is getting the price to where you want to pay. Some people won’t change their price, others will go really low, but if you walk away, I promise they will lower the price to keep you in their shop. You see there is about 6 items for sale on Petaling Street, but 4 blocks of shops. You can buy watches, sunglasses, purses, clothes, shoes or food. Every stall sells the same thing, so they want to lower the price to keep you coming back to their stall.

The problem with Petaling Street is, everything they sell is a knock off of the original that is why they can lower the price. It looks original, it can feel original, and many people believe it is original, that is why they pay 250 Malaysian Ringgitt, when it is worth less than 50 Malaysian Ringgitt. But when you get home and you use your pursue, watch, wallet, whatever, for a couple weeks, it begins to fall apart and you realize you were duped or you don’t care, for you know you get what you pay for. Then you go into KLCC, which is a high end shopping center in Malaysia and you enter the Coach Store and see the price of a real Coach purse (25,000 MYR) and you know you got a knock off on Petaling Street.

In many ways the church is like Petaling Street, we have churches on every corner of this country, they are big, small, white, black, traditional, contemporary, but most are all the same, they are a knock off of the original. We present to people a knock off of the original and we wonder why people have no value for it. New programs are produced, new platforms are built, new church plants are established, but because it is a knock off, people have no value for the church. We seek to meet the needs of the people and in doing so we neglect the presence of God. Our services have become predictable, we do the same thing every week and we call it order. We have centered our service around the leaders passion rather than the Lord’s plan. If you have a passion for worship, that is the priority; if you are a person who loves prayer, that is the priority; if you love to teach or preach, that takes precedence. Yeah, we do all the right things, we sing, we pray, we preach, but the leaders passion becomes the priority and the presence of God is missing.

People will value the church, when the leaders in the church offer the original. People will pay for what they value, they will sacrifice for that which adds value to their lives. The church is to be the manifestation of the kingdom of God on earth. We are the protector of the city, the solution to every problem we see. But for this to become a reality, we have to repent of offering a knock off and lowering the price, just so the people will not go to another church. Church is not about the leader, the founder, the pastor, it is about God. If we don’t start offering an original, the people are going to be very angry with the leaders of the church, because they did not prepare them for the war they are in, with the ability to cast out the demons that are all around them, or for disciplining them as mothers and fathers, rather than seeking to spoil them by giving them everything they want.

If you want people to return to the church, you must start offering an original, they know the knock off is fake, so they quit coming, and who can blame them.

Titleless

The world in which we live is driven by the need for titles. We believe respect is given because of a title we have; intelligence is identified by our title; authority is known, all because we have a title. We see titles as badges of honor, marks of identity, reasons for respect. Because of this worldly drive, we go into to debt to get an education, to put on a resume, so someone can give us a title. We sacrifice time with our family in pursuit of another title at work, because our identity is tied to our title. Titles were created to describe function, but we have turned them into marks of identity.

Recently I was speaking to a lady that is older than I am and she has been in “ministry” her whole life. She got her doctorate degree in a field that would increase her authority in the ministry she served. She has spent 25 years serving in the church, and now that she has stepped down, or in her words, retired, she does not know who she is. Her identity was in her title, and even through she still carries the PhD. behind her name, she does not know who she is. As we were talking, I said to her, you are going to have to learn how to be a daughter, as the tears flowed, she said, I don’t know how. (Selah)

Last night while I was in worship, the Lord showed me a throne with the words I AM on it. There was no face, figure of person on the throne, just the words I AM sitting on this throne. As I continued to worship, I heard the voice of God said, “when I look on the world, I see people.” Then I saw a brown sandy beach, and the Lord said, “this is what I see, lots and lots of people.” As I pondered the sand, I realized there are so many grains of sand that make up a beach, but there is no grain of sand that is higher than any other, it is just all sand and together they make up the beach.

Church, it is time we lay down our titles, our positions, our jockeying for power, position, prestige. We are all just people. We are sons and daughters of God. We may have different functions in the body, but He is the only head and we all our the body. You are not the head of your church, Christ is the only head of the church. Apostle is a function, not a title, Prophet is a function, Evangelist is a function, we are given functions to help mature the body of Christ, it is not a title. If we could just lay down our need for hierarchy, and pick up our true identity as son, our true identity as daughter, we would find the fruit of the spirit in our churches, cities transformed, and the power of God manifested everywhere we go. But it starts with us realizing in the eyes of God, we are titleless and those who know their God, who have their identity in Him, they don’t need a title, but they do understand their function.

Before you stone me, think for just a minute, when you meet Him face to face, will you introduce your self as Title Name or just by your first Name? Jesus is His name that is above every name, His name is His nature, His function was Christ, Messiah, Savior, He only acknowledged Himself as Son of God or Son of Man, and He was the greatest man that ever has or ever will walk the earth. He said to be great is to serve, to wash other people’s feet, if you know who you are (John 13) and to not get caught up in titles, for that is what the Pharisees did. Is it possible we have missed something and it is costing us our identity? I have the only title I need, daughter of my Father in heaven. #titlelessfreedom

2 Corinthians 5:16-17 “From now on we recognize no one according to the flesh…therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature, the old things passed away; behold new things have come”.

Judgment is an Act of Grace

There is a side of God’s love that is not comfortable, it does not feel good to the flesh, but it is love nonetheless. We are about to experience this love of God which will deal with our sin, especially the hidden sin of idolatry. Leaders have twisted the word of God to say what they want and they have taught the people to do the same thing.

The temple in Jerusalem was destroyed after the cross; Annanias and Sapphira were killed for lying to the Holy Spirit, after the cross. This is not an Old Testament warning, this is a grace warning for the time of judgment is drawing near. God’s judgment of sin is an act of love, it is actually His grace, for He desires that none should perish, but all should come to repentance and experience eternal life. If God leaves us I our sin, we will hear on the last day, Matthew 7, away from me, I never knew you.

God is about to deal with sin, now, so we still have time to repent. It will be an act of mercy, so we do not perish forever. But, know this, there is going to be a widespread identity crisis, for many have only known their idols of ministry, money, their job, and power/control. When all that is stripped away, they will not know who they are, they will be just as lost and disillusioned as the unbeliever.

This is where those who have been invisible will become visible. The mature sons and daughters of God who have been practicing the presence in the secret place; who have been working on root systems; who have learned they are sons and daughters, who have a Father; who have not let church, money or ministry define them; who hear His voice and obey, no matter what the personal cost to them; who have their identity as a son or daughter of God; they will be used to gather in the greatest harvest of souls the world has ever seen. They will help restore the lost sheep of Israel to the Father; they will rescue the unbeliever from fire (Jude 22-23); they will stand with the Father and rejoice with all those who were lost, but are now found.
