The shift is taking place, many are feeling the change in the atmosphere, as though momentum has turned in favor of the advancing kingdom of God on earth. Prophecies are coming forth, Azusa Now is over, wells are being dug, many have made their choice and are making their choice of who’s side they are going to be on. We are on the verge of the greatest move of God we have seen in our lifetime on earth, it is going to be powerful, exciting, challenging and all God. But as we all know, wherever there is the real, a counterfeit will rise.
I was at a birthday party yesterday and they had cake and ice cream. I noticed they had two brands of ice cream, Bryer’s which was in its typical packaging and Blue Bunny. As many of you know Blue Bunny ice cream went through some listeria scare and had to ban all their ice cream from the shelves. This hurt their company to say the least. But what they have done is changed their packaging so people begin to buy their ice cream again. It is so subtle that very few would even notice. It looks like a brand new brand, but it’s the same company. In the midst of the excitement, don’t stop being discerning; in the midst of the outpouring, don’t stop listening; in the midst of the new voices rising, don’t forget the Word of God. I say all this, because I have noticed new voices rising, they are passionate, they are “on fire”, they get the crowd going, but they are not meat and heat. Some of the new voices are recycling old wineskin messages, they are packaged differently but it’s the same brand.
This move of God that many know is very close is going to bring the meat and the heat. It is going to the Spirit and the Word. It is going to be revival and reformation. We need transformation and miracles. Discipleship and evangelism will come from this move of God. Listen for the Word of God in the messages, not just the prophetic hype. The Lord is releasing fresh revelation of His word to His mature sons and daughters, along with prophecy, evangelism, signs, wonders and miracles. Jesus was the Word of God made flesh and He did heal all those who came to Him with diseases.
Scriptures that are taken out of context and used for flash are why we have been powerless as a church. Without the meat of the word, there is no new sound from the messenger. I was at a worship event the other day and the leader, Dustin Smith, said, worship leaders are all looking for the new sound, the next sound that will the church will want to hear, but he said, the new sound is the sound of authority. Authority comes from identity, so you will recognize the new sound when you hear it, you will know the meat when you are fed it, and you will feel the heat when the fire falls.
Paul said in Galatians 6:6-8, “The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him. Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.…”
James said in James 1:16-17, “Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.…”
We are in the midst of a major transition, many of you feel it and have wondered why you are still sitting at home, when there is a word in your belly that is like a fire shut up in your bones. The reason is because it is better to be in the wilderness with God than in the promised land and forget about Him. Be patient, He knows where you are, don’t try to make something happen, you have come too far to build your own thing now. Keep alert, keep watching, keep listening, there are newly packaged old wineskins on the rise, but very soon the Lord is going to release those who have the meat of the Word and the heat of the Spirit.

Hi Lisa. Thank you for your most recent article, The Meat and the Heat. It’s a message that many need to hear at this time. There are a few more sites that are filled with prophecies, many of which speak of a new move and blessings coming, and while I know that is true, I also know of something that will accompany the ‘move of God’ that people either haven’t been told about, or are choosing not to talk about, and it comes very close to meat, and heat.
About 3-4 years after I was converted, God began to strongly speak to me of the ‘New Thing’ He was doing, and going to do in the earth. At the time I had no idea of what He was referring to, but as I continued to follow the Spirit’s leadings in my own life, an entire message began to take shape. It was years in the making, and brought with it new, previously unheard of (by me) experiences that I didn’t know how to place within the context of my salvation, but because I knew God, and knew He was the One in charge of my life, I trusted He would eventually show me how to take what He was showing me. In just this past year – well over 20 later, I have received the revelation on many of these things. It’s late here right now, so I can’t share the basic message with you right now, but I’ll be back tomorrow to finish what I have to say. I hope to meet you there.

Most don’t have a problem looking at the Law of Israel and seeing how the Feast of the Passover was fulfilled when Jesus laid down His life, and the Feast of Pentecost was fulfilled on the Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit fell on those who were waiting on God, but not many have stood back and said, “Okay, there’s one more feast to be fulfilled now – the Feast of Tabernacles.” To the contrary, the Church seems to be fulfilling Laodicea almost to the letter, telling itself that they are rich (in the Spirit) and increased with goods, and have need of nothing. They believe it’s finished and there’s nothing more to be done or given to them other than an influx of more and greater miracles than what has been seen to date. They couldn’t be more wrong, and scripture plainly tells us they are.
I knew and read about Tabernacles, but still had no idea of anything in scripture about it, and what to expect, I only knew it would be fulfilled in our day. But God began to open my eyes to a few scriptures in the New Testament that I’d like to share with you, because you seem to be listening well and I think you’ll see what I mean.
The first one concerns I Cor. 12 & 13 – one which most think they know but which is very misquoted and misapplied. In I Cor. 12, Paul lists the gifts of the Spirit that we recognize as being a part of Pentecost, followed by the recognizable offices of calling also associated with Pentecost, but after he finishes listing all of these things, it’s THEN that he says, “…yet I show unto you a MORE EXCELLENT WAY”! That statement should have been a show-stopper, but most don’t even see it. After Paul has listed the operations associated with Pentecost, he then tells us there is a more excellent WAY coming. Not a more excellent set of miracles, not more of the same – just greater, but an entirely new WAY, and then proceeds to speak to us of divine love.
People have taken this to mean any old love – human love or love inspired by the Holy Spirit, but that would be phileo, not agape – divine love, which is what ‘charity’ is. That is why Paul describes this love as outdoing anything Pentecost can offer, and goes on to call what we now have as, ‘knowing in part; speaking as a child, understanding as a child, thinking as a child, seeing through a glass darkly, and knowing in part, and that only when ‘that which is perfect has come’, will these ‘in part’ gifts be ‘done away’. So the love he’s speaking about has NOT come yet, but is the perfect thing that will come, and since it isn’t here yet, no one is or can be using it.
This brings up the second scripture which is Phil.3:10 – 14. Paul stated very clearly that he wanted to know Christ, the power of His resurrection, fellowship with His sufferings, and be made conformable unto His death SO THAT (if by any means) he might ATTAIN to the resurrection of the dead, because he had not yet attained! I see nothing in here that so much as presumes we’re all going in the rapture because we are ‘believers’. If anything, Paul trampled that idea under foot! If he hadn’t attained by the sacrifices he offered in his day, what gives us the right to assume we have attained? Indeed, Paul stated in so many words that it would take being conformed to Jesus’ death and being made ‘perfect’ before attaining the resurrection was possible. Not what people are being told today!
The third scripture I’ll touch on (I really am trying to be brief), is I Peter 1: 3-5. Paraphrased, it reads, “Blessed be…..Jesus Christ, who by His resurrection from the dead, has begotten us unto a living HOPE ….for the incorruptible and undefiled inheritance…that is reserved IN HEAVEN for you who are kept…through faith to the SALVATION READY to be REVEALED in the last time..” In so many words all I’ve heard people say these days is that we can expect to be extremely anointed, receive great blessings, and then be raptured, and yet Paul has made it explicitly clear that the way of faith is NOT the way of real and full salvation, that in fact, faith has given us a living HOPE for this way, but that the way of salvation itself is being kept in Heaven WAITING TO BE REVEALED in this last day.
What about a new way coming, that consists of divine love that will make people perfect, and which is being withheld in Heaven until it is time to be revealed, says anything about everyone who is walking according to the Holy Spirit is saved, and ready for the rapture? Sure there’s something greater coming, but from what Paul said about being conformed to the image of His death – few there are who are ready for any such thing, much less being rich and in need of nothing. I might add that verse that everyone loves to quote to the unbeliever – about Jesus standing at the door, knocking to get in, was actually said to the CHURCH of Laodicea – not the ‘unbelievers’, and historically speaking, Laodicea was a Spirit-filled Church.
One day while sitting at home just thinking about the things of God, God audibly spoke to me. “Tabernacles will be as different from Pentecost, as Pentecost was from the Law.” He then gave me direction on a particular scripture He wanted me to read, but this statement blew my mind. If anyone had walked into the temple during the time of the Law, and watched all the proceedings, and then walked in on a meeting during and after the Day of Pentecost, how much similarity do you think they would see??!! NONE! If anything, Pentecost would have seemed like a free-for-all, a wild bunch of idiots who were breaking everything about the former Way, and denying every Law God had laid down. And God said to me the same thing will happen again because Tabernacles isn’t going to look like Pentecost in any way, shape, or form, but in fact will seem to be denying everything that we have come to know as salvation. Huge changes are coming – nothing short of a spiritual revolution is at the doorstep, and the question isn’t how great are the blessings, it’s are we as ready as Anna, Simon, and the Shepherds to hear it and recognize it when we see it?
This is so good, only those who are sitting at the feet of the Master will hear this type of revelation. Thank you for sharing your pearls of wisdom with me that you have learned, I am honored to hear them and learn from them.
Hi Lisa. I shared them because you seem to me to be in a place where you can hear them, and appreciate them. Not to mention the truth that serious growth is necessary in order to be prepared for everything that is coming – blessings included, is a truth that has been thrown out the window. People need to hear what you said – Pentecost is over – because that is very true in a large way. God literally told me that Pentecost “…is a fading glory.” It alone will not prepare people for the rapture, and those who insist that it is will find themselves in a very precarious position in a few short years. You are the only one I’ve found so far who is open and willing to hear these things, so thank you for allowing me to share with you.
I have found very few who are ready for fresh revelations on old truths. If your not a listener and lover of the Word, you will stay with the old wine skin because it’s familiar. I have drank the new wine, I have dined with the King and I have chosen the narrow road that leads to life. Therefore I can hear you by the spirit. Keep listening, loving and writing, very soon others will find the truth that set you free as well. Blessings
Yes, I know exactly what you mean – not being ready for new revelation on old truths. And that is exactly what it takes – the more we die to ourselves, the more room Christ has to rule and reveal within us. I loved your statement about a word in your belly and fire in your bones – because that’s exactly how I feel when I look around at what’s going on in the Church, and what’s coming. But yes, I know that God has His times – and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Thank you for letting me share this with you.
