inOne of the greatest challenges people on earth face is the reality that there are a lot of people talking, but very few people actually saying anything. Pop singers have #1 hit songs with lyrics like, Watch Me, Shake It Off or Baby Baby, just to name a few and we spend millions of dollars on their albums, to tell us what, nothing. I was a teenager once before and we had some songs like this as well, where they were just to dance to, not to have some deep meaning in them, but it is not just in pop music. Worship songs are no better, we have gone from deeply theological hymns like Lift High the Cross, How Great Thou Art and To God Be The Glory to one chorus songs repeated over and over again, of which I love by the way. The challenge is we are not saying anything of substance or significance and we wonder why the wind blows or the snow falls and people are screaming it’s the judgment of God, the world is ending, or Jesus is coming back, tomorrow.
One of the greatest gifts the Bible gives us, is that it is filled with substance. It is riddled with the history of how a personal God walked and worked with people. How He took a no name group of people and made them into the most powerful nation on the earth. It is about how to live in community, how to be a family, how to work, play, teach and train. It is full of wisdom, romance, grace, consequences, choices and colorful characters. The Bible is rich in history, deep in understanding, full of mystery and glorious in expression. It tells of men, women and children, it includes the young and old, it is a book for the slave and the free, the lost and the found. People like Henry Ford found wisdom in it to invent the automobile and George Washington quoted it when he was establishing a brand new nation.
People have tried to burn the bible, kill the ones who printed the bible, destroy the followers of the bible, and to this day mock the ones who believe the bible, but it is not moved. It is an ancient text that is unshakable, unbreakable and unstoppable in its ability to inflict change. It is full of substance, secrets, mysteries, over and covert ways of doing life and it is a love letter, a manual, a blueprint for success. No wonder people wanted to take prayer out of school, change the definition of marriage, and ban Christian t-shirts, because the word of God is powerful, no matter what format it is presented in.
Matthew 24:35 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” – Jesus
In a system that is seeking to dumb you down, so they can feel like they have control over you. There is one book that will lift you up, correct you up and build you up from the inside out and that is the word of God. If you want to be inside strong, you must know the word of God, not memorize it, so you can quote it or slap somebody with the truth you know, but so you can learn to be a lover of God and a lover of people. The word of God transforms you from the inside out. The world is going to shake, challenges will arise, but if you are established in the word of God, you will be immovable, unshakable and undeniably able to speak less, but say more. And we need some people who have something to say, not just people who talk about a whole lot of nothing. So think deep, pray wide, sing loud, worship hard and watch God dig a well in your life that produces the oil of joy, the rivers of the life and the power of an indestructible life.

inEphesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.”
Colossians 1:27 “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
While in church last night my Pastor, Bill Virgin, who is a self-proclaimed mountain boy, from the backwoods of Idaho, said, “There is dynamite lying dormant in gold mines all over this nation, and all they need is a detonator.” Now to the naked ear, this may just be a country boy sharing another backwoods story, but for those with ears to hear, this is a piece to the prophetic picture of what God is doing right now on the earth.
There are people all over this nation and the world, living in caves, crevices, condo’s, cities and countries who are packed with dynamite inside of them. They gave their life to Jesus at some point, but never went beyond the salvation experience, or they have yet to crossover to becoming a Christian. Either way, they have dynamite lying dormant inside of them. Everyone one of us was born with dynamite, in the Greek, the word for power is dunamis, which in English is translated dynamite. You are the most powerful person in your life. God made you that way, He is not afraid of your power, actually He wants you to be powerful, that is why He created, inside your inmost being, dynamite.
Ecclesiastes 3:11 says, “Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” Being created with eternity in our hearts is dunamis, it is power, it is dynamite, you are, I am, an eternal being, made of indestructible material. But for many the reality of this power lies dormant, we are like a gold mine, that once blown open are going to add value to the world. So, why have we not exploded with all this potential yet? Because we need a detonator.
A detonator is a device or small quantity of explosive used for detonating a high explosive (Merriam Webster online). A detonator is like a mustard seed, it is small, but it packs a punch. The word of God is a detonator, words are detonators, people are detonators. People have said things that have blown us up alright, but not to expose the gold, but rather to expose our shame, sin, or some other issue. But it’s a new day, the detonators God is releasing into your life are there to ignite the dynamite in your life so the gold inside of you is exposed. People are a gold mine and we are called to be gold diggers.
When we use our words as detonators to blow up belief systems that have kept people bound; when we use the word of God to blow up doctrines that have kept people from being powerful; when we use words to expose the gold in people; they then become detonators in someone else’s life to do the same thing. There is dynamite lying dormant in everyone’s life and when a detonator comes into your life, they will blow up your life in a way that exposes the gold in you. Christ in you is the hope of glory and His power is at work within you, He is the dynamite inside of you, He is about to blow our minds, so the gold in us can be seen.
It’s a new day, there is a new way, for glory is on the way. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered.

inMuch has been spoke about on the power of momentum, the power of speech, the law of attraction and so many other success principles, but very little is spoken about as it pertains to the power of proximity. In a culture that is more digitally connected than ever before and yet more disconnected relationally than in times past, one has to wonder, what is the problem? My theory is, most people are really busy doing nothing. We spend time, energy and money on things that have no eternal value and we neglect that which has eternal value to us, because technology has made us look connected while being very disconnected. We have sought our significance in something rather than someone, so we spend hours and hours doing nothing of significance, yet wonder why we struggle with significance.
Proximity is defined as nearness in space, time, or relationship. Proximity is the invisible success factor that becomes visible in our lives as we exercise it consistently. The first issue people have as it pertains to proximity is their nearness in time or relationship with an invisible God. We go to church, we pray and sometimes we read our bible, but nothing changes because we have not seen the value the power of proximity brings to our relationship with the Lord. Jesus said in Matthew 15:8, “‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me…” This is a great example of a proximity problem in our relationship with God. The truth is, if we drew near to God, He would draw near to us; if we would seek Him with all our hearts, we would find Him; and we would begin to harness the power of proximity which would manifest in our understanding of identity as sons and daughters of God.
Another undervalued relationship for most people is that of their spouse. The divorce rate is out of control, because people in marriage are not valuing the eternal person and covenant they have in their life. We may live in proximity to this person so the nearness in space and some would argue time issue is there, but the nearness in relationship is lacking, so we are not seeing the power of proximity manifested in our marriages. When we value marriage as an eternal covenant, which will yield rewards that have yet to be seen on earth and in generations to come, what is invisible will become visible to the other members of this covenant, mainly the children. The power of proximity will yield generational blessings if we only could recognize the eternal nature of our spouse; the eternal nature of us as a couple, for we have the power to create something the world has never seen before, just look at your children; and the eternal nature of God who uses marriage as an analogy of Christ and the Church.
The power of proximity is limitless, for the kingdom is all about relationships. In the age that just ended in the spirit, rules, righteousness and a variety of other issues were paramount indicators of spirituality, but Jesus when He came to earth and ushered in the first transition from Law to Grace said, repent for the kingdom of heaven is here. That meant, think differently, not modify or eradicate some behavior. Jesus was telling the people to think differently about people, about relationships. Look at the people Jesus touched (lepers); let touch Him (prostitutes); or that He made a part of His band of brothers (betrayer, tax collector and doubters). The power of proximity is about to go from invisible to visible as many have harnessed its power in secret and are about to share their success stories with the world. It’s never too late to recognize the power of proximity.

Everything about God is relational. – Bob Hazlett
One of the greatest things about being in a relationship with God is that He makes you smarter than your IQ and wiser than your years. I find the more time I spend with Him, the more He teaches me about spiritual truths, using natural things that I know nothing about. But, He does know that I live in a day and age, where if I am a learner, I can learn about anything He speaks, thank God for Google. So, while in prayer I had one of those moments where God began speaking to me about something I knew nothing about, or so I thought I knew nothing about it. For as I studied it out, I discovered it was something I knew, but did not have such creative language for. Only God can affirm who we are while calling us into who we are not yet.
While praying for people and places, the Lord dropped the words transistors and resistors into my spirit. I kept praying, but could not shake these two words that the Lord had dropped in my spirit. What I discovered is that transistors are amplifiers, they amplify a signal, they amplify power, and they amplify sound. Resistors are reducers, they limit flow, they lower voltage, and they lessen power. In the electrical world transistors and resistors work together to release an appropriate balance of power to flow through a socket or terminal. But, in the spirit, these are opposing forces that cause confusion in a place where people gather to experience God.
The Lord has spoken to me consistently that the hold up for revival, the presence of God, power, whatever we desire spiritually is not Him, but us. If we don’t make room for Him, He is not going to force Himself upon us. He already poured out His spirit upon us on Pentecost, now He wants His spirit to come out of us, but we have too many cross currents happening in ourselves and in our gathering places. When we want to be a transistor one minute, but then are a resistor the next, we balance the power and stay the same. Or if there are both transistors and resistors in the same room, we balance the power and nothing changes.
In Acts 2, the Spirit of God came in like a rushing wind on a group of people who were one transistor, the Bible says, they were in one accord, in one place. They were all transistors, all wanting to amplify the presence of God, all wanting to admit a signal to earth about the power of God, there were no resistors in the upper room. So, when the spirit fell upon them like tongues of fire, they amplified the word of God on the street in everyone’s language, and the power of God was seen in healings. Transistors gathered together in one place, lifting up one voice, amplifying one message, and 3,000 people were saved that day.
Transistors amplify the signal they are receiving, while resistors limit that which they are seeing or hearing. When believers that are created to be transistors of the presence of God, become resistors of it, we see the manifestation of religion. Some started as transistors, but have become resistors due to bad theology, poor leadership and sheer laziness. Others were resistors, but have become transistors and as they amplify the power of God, the resistors rise up and balance out the current, so there is limited or low power flowing in the room. When we resist, what we are to transist, we get what we see in the majority of churches today.
We were created to be transistors, we are built for power to flow through us, but we must stop resisting that which we don’t understand and then we will see the spirit breakout, for Christ in us is the hope of glory. So, the question each of us needs to ask ourselves is, am I a transistor or resistor of the presence of God, the word of God and the power of God or am I a resistor and that is why where I am there is limited power?

inHave you ever heard someone speak and you could feel their passion, but you knew they were angry, resentful, hurt, or grinding an axe? Have you ever said something out of frustration, believing it to be passion? Have you ever listened to a song and their talent was evident but their pain was as well? Or do you have no idea what I am talking about? The bible is riddled with sayings that help us to realize there is a fine line between two opposite sources from which information flows. Knowing the source of our statements, will help us to become more effective in our communication.
It doesn’t take long on Social Media, in church or on the job to see someone’s passion, but the more you listen, the more you hear their frustration or pain. Words reveal our hearts and most people don’t listen to themselves, so they cannot discern their own spirits, let alone someone else’s spirit. However, if we are to mature; if we are to be healed; if we are to become more Christlike; we have to be able to discern ourselves and others. For words carry a spirit and if you accept their words, you also get the spirit from which those words came from. So, we need to be very careful who we listen to, for they may sound passionate, but it could be coming from their unhealed pain.
Proverbs 16:32 says “Do you want to be known as a mighty warrior? It is better to be known as one who is patient and slow to anger. Do you want to conquer a city? Rule over your temper, before you attempt to rule a city.” I used to love the warfare stuff, but once I went through the wilderness and allowed the Lord to heal my pain, I realized that just like Proverbs 16 says, warfare can be fuel for pain, more than it is truly passion. Solomon ties being a mighty warrior to being impatient and angry, but most people cannot discern this, because we have been taught to value being a mighty warrior. Solomon goes on to say, our desire to conquer cities, is tied to our inability to conquer our own emotions, which again, he ties to anger. Anger is a protector of pain, so what looks like passion (mighty warrior or conquering a city) can actually be sourced in pain and we don’t realize it.
Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is living and active and sharper than a two edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Without the revelation that comes through the word of God, we cannot discern the source of what we are saying, or what others are saying. In the next move of God, Damon Thompson says, “The Lord is opening up a gate of compassion, for the closer we get to the Lord, the more we will love people and be moved with compassion toward people.” If the source of our communication is not love, it is coming from pain and not passion. Jesus did everything from love and if we have not love, we are nothing. I Corinthians 13:2-3 says, “If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.”
The way you can discern if what you or someone else is saying is coming from pain or passion, is to put it through the I Corinthians 13:4-8 love test, for if it’s not from love, it’s not passion, its pain masquerading as passion.

In the past week the Lord has been giving me physical manifestations of prophetic things that he is doing, with the word, “look deeper, keep looking”. When Daniel saw the visions of the various creatures and wheels and other seemingly bazaar but natural things, the Lord told him to look deeper, to keep looking. So, with these natural experiences I have been looking deeper and I keep looking until I hear what God is saying, based on what I am seeing. This is the 3rd experience this week that I have had. One I have already shared about the computer, the second was a personal word for someone and this one I believe is for the body of Christ.
In my truck I have four gauges, 1) Temperature; 2) Fuel; 3) Oil; 4) Volts; honestly I have not paid much attention to these gauges, other than to make sure my car does not over heat and that my gas does not run out. So, I know a little bit about cars, but I am far from a mechanic. This morning, the Lord had me staring at these gauges, I was looking at them, wondering why they were catching my attention. What I noticed is that all of them were with arrows straight up. I had a half tank of gas, I was right in the middle on all the gauges, I do not know if this is normal, but I do know it was prophetic. So, with all the gauges point straight up, I said, Lord what are you trying to say? Here is what I heard.
The Lord said, “temperature gauge is the atmosphere; the fuel gauge is the anointing; the oil gauge is the authority; and the volts gauge is the action;” then the Lord said, “ALL SYSTEMS GO!” After I heard all systems go, the presence of God fell in my car, I was standing in glory, while sitting in the car. It was heavy, it was God. I knew in my spirit that everything is aligned and ready for God to make His move. There has been a lot said about what is coming, some say the greatest harvest we have ever known on earth and I say yes; some say a transfer of wealth from the wicked to the righteous and I say yes; others say judgment on America and persecution like we have never known and I say yes. I say yes, because whichever one it is or whichever combination of them that it is, I say yes, because I know it is God, for He told me, ALL SYSTEMS GO!

inMoney is the talk of every town around the world. Some people are complaining that they don’t have enough; others are declaring and demanding they want and need more; still others are worried about money; and some are arguing over money. Possibly one of the most discussed subjects around the world, in the church, in companies, in cities and in countries, is the subject of money. Some are saying we spend too much, other are upset we save too much, some move for money, others suffer unduly for it, really there is no escaping the discussion of money. With all this focus on money, it is no wonder, whether known or unknown to many people, money has become their savior.
A savior is someone or something we look to in order to get us out of a mess, to bring us satisfaction, to meet our needs. People are asking for money every day, they are praying for money continually, and they are in need of money all the time. Whether it is to buy this or buy that. Everyone needs more money. If you were new to this planet, we call earth, you might wonder if this is our god, based on the amount of time and energy we spend on this very subject, we call money. However, this should not be for those who are in Christ. Money is not to be our savior, it is to be our servant. The only reason we should be discussing money is because we need to tell it where to go.
Matthew 25:14-46 is a portion of scripture known as the Parable of the Talents. In this story, servants are given a promotion by their master. The master gives the servants ownership of some talents, which more often than not has been translated money. One servant is given 5 talents of money, another is given 2 talents of money, and 1 is given one talent of money. In the story, 2 of the 3 servants put the money to work for them and by doing so they produce more talents. 1 servant hides the money, out of fear, and upon the masters return, he gives back the one talent of money he was given. This story is a great example of the call for us to make money our servants not our savior. Servants go to work for you, they do what you say. If servants are sent to proper places, they will produce, for they by design were created to work for you.
Every person that makes any amount of money is a master of that money. By design, we were given the authority to rule over everything on the earth (Genesis 1). Each month every person is given a certain number or servants to rule over. For me I am given 1700 servants a month, how I use these servants will determine whether or not I am given more servants. These servants are my money. I send some servants to the mortgage company; I send other servants to the grocery store; I send some servants to the gas and energy company; and some servants are sent to church. But each servant is sent in a direction to work for me. I do not work for my 1700 servants, they work for me. How I put them to work, will either produce more servants for me, or I may lose the servants I already have, if I do not use them wisely.
We have been given the ability to rule as masters over servants (money). We are more powerful than we realize, if you see your monthly income as a number of servants, you will see that God is using those servants to test your faithfulness. Some people are given more servants to start than you are, but everyone is being tested to see how they use those servants. Then based on what we do with them, will determine if we are given more servants to dispatch.
Money is our servant, not our savior. We are rulers over more than we ever realized. It is time we start using our servants to produce more servants in our lives, so we can do more with our lives. Money is your servant, not your savior. You don’t look to money to get you out of trouble, you look to the Lord. You don’t worry about, fight about, lose sleep over, stress over, money. It is not your savior, it cannot get you where you need to be. Put your money to work, it is your servant and you are in a position of power, authority, and rulership, so, steward well, rule well, and you will be given more servants.

inTo some this is going to sound weird, but for the believer it should be encouraging, exciting, liberating. The Lord revealed to me this morning that as believers we are to live with dual realities. It is all over scripture this concept of dual realities, but it is not something we are consciously aware of on a moment by moment basis. The bible says, we are in the world, but we are not of the world; greater is He that is in you, then he that is in the world; our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against powers, rulers and those in dark places. The scriptures are seeking to remind us, you live on earth, this is one of your realities, but your citizenship is in heaven, this too is your reality. We live with dual realities.
Where we choose to focus our attention, our thoughts, our everything determines which world we look to for help. I recently went through a very fierce battle in this world. It was as though the hounds of hell were unleashed on me. My emotions were taking me to a dark place, my thoughts were tormenting me, everywhere I looked around me, it seemed hopeless, I was in despair, my heart was sinking fast. Then I remembered the scripture as I cried myself to sleep, weeping endures for the night, but joy comes in the morning. I went to sleep with tears in my eyes and on my pillow to wake up the next morning, literally with a new found strength. I almost couldn’t believe it, because the battle was so fierce the night before, that I thought maybe I just stuffed my emotions, but no the Lord kept reassuring me, joy comes in the morning, His mercy is new every morning, He makes all things new. It was grace, it was truth, it was liberating.
As I was praying that morning, I began to speak about the greatness of God, I began to talk about how good God is, how faithful He is, I began to bless the Lord with all my soul and all that was in me, was blessing His holy name. I then began to say it is not weakness to run to my tower of refuge and strength, I began to shout, it is not retreat to hide in the shelter of the Most High, I began to declare that the cleft of the rock is not for the fearful, but for the faithful. I realized that dependency is a sign of strength and not weakness when we are depending on our Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Then as I was lifting up my eyes to the Lord (Psalm 121), realizing where my help comes from, I got the revelation that we live with dual realities.
Heaven became so real in that moment, I felt the joy the of the Lord, I saw the seraphim flying through the air of heaven, I was barefoot and could feel the streets of gold beneath my feet, I saw waterfalls and rainbows, I could hear birds singing and there was a peace that came over me, a freedom from the pain I was experiencing. I step into another reality. I could see healing, prosperity, the kingdom advancing, power and life, oh the life I felt. I smiled, I laughed, I paused and took a deep breath of the air, and the Lord said to me, this is your reality, it is only a lifting of the eyes away.
My life is forever changed today, for I realized we live with dual realities. It is a reality that I live on earth with sin, people’s personalities, needing to go to work everyday, working out at the gym, shopping, putting gas in the car, raising my son, and all the realities that come with this earth, but I also live with the reality that the kingdom of God is advancing, that healing, prosperity and life is mine as well. I live with dual realities and as long as I lift my eyes up to the hills, I know more than ever before, my help comes from the Lord. When I look at the realities of earth, my heart is overwhelmed with pain, suffering, and sin that I see, hear and experience. This reality does not go away, but as a believer, I have another reality, heaven is real, the kingdom of God is just an eye lifting away and that is as much of a reality to me as the earth on which I live.
What a joy to live with dual realities.
John 18:36 “Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place.”

2 Peter 1:3-4 “As his divine power has given to us all things which relate to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us by glory and virtue, through which he has given to us the greatest and precious promises, that through these ye may become partakers of [the] divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust”.
My spirit is stirred with a strong warning again this morning, too many Christians are living in the world not realizing they are being programmed for destruction. People who are consumed with television, video games, all things internet, social media, etc. are taking in words, attitudes, ideas that are contrary to the word of God. Since being home, after spending 9 years in Malaysia, I cannot even watch television, the commercials promote demonic shows like Sleepy Hollow. The choice of shows that will not defile my spirit are so limited and even those that seem safe like The Biggest Loser or Wheel of Fortune are still saying things that are counter kingdom. The longer we consume these things, the more defiled we are becoming and we do not even realize it. The world is the world, they can say and do what they want, however, we are called to escape from the system of the world, but we cannot do this if we want to be entertained by them and think that we are not being corrupted by them. When we battle to turn off the television versus read our bible, listen to worship music, or watch sermons on You Tube, we are showing how hungry we are for the world’s entertainment and how engrossed we are in the world’s system.
Revelation 18:2-5 ” And he cried with a strong voice, saying, Great Babylon has fallen, has fallen, and has become the habitation of demons, and a hold of every unclean spirit, and a hold of every unclean and hated bird; because all the nations have drunk of the wine of the fury of her fornication; and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have been enriched through the might of her luxury. And I heard another voice out of the heaven saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye have not fellowship in her sins, and that ye do not receive of her plagues: 5 for her sins have been heaped on one another up to the heaven, and God has remembered her unrighteousness’s”.
The Lord is calling us to come out of the world’s system, come out once and for all, leave behind all that you used to know, the kingdom of God is at hand. The Lord is about to pour out His spirit upon all flesh, there are those who are going to rise to glory, then there are those who are going to struggle to escape. We are called to come out, the exit door of grace is still open, but the time is drawing near when that door will close and it will be harder to escape. We need to be serious about the things of God, no more playing in our food, thinking we have time, time is running out, the power to escape is available, the door is still open, and the Lord is calling people to come out. Everyday we choose life or death, with what we put in our mouth, we are choosing either life or death, with what we watch with our eyes, we are choosing either life or death, with what we hear, we are choosing either life or death. No one can choose for you, this is a choice you have to make on your own. You are responsible to choose life!
My life has radically changed as of late in the area of my belief about who I am. The Lord has revealed to me, that I do not see myself worthy of deserving to succeed in every area of my life. Because I believed I was not worthy of this, I would wait for others to love me, encourage me, advise me, because I was not convinced I deserved to succeed. But this self-sabotaging belief has been exposed and I know that I deserve to be fit, fun and fabulous, I deserve to choose life, I deserve to live the abundant life, I deserve to prosper in health, body and soul. Once I changed the way I believed, it changed my attitude, my outlook, my actions, my everything. The power to escape, the power to choose life, the power to change the way you believe, the power to prepare for the next move of God is upon us right now. Today we have to decide what we want. The world is programming all of those in that system for the coming destruction and if we consume what they are serving we are choosing death and there will be no one to blame but ourselves. You have to believe the power to escape is available to you and you are worth more than consuming worldly teachings, ideas and attitudes, you were created to live and live abundantly. You deserve to succeed in body, soul and spirit, you deserve to love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your mind, with all your strength and you deserve to love your neighbor as you love yourself.
