The Purge Is For The Surge

Many prophets have been prophesying that God is cleaning house, in the church, in the nations and in our lives. We are seeing ISIS being driven out of their strongholds, we are seeing brick and mortar companies shutting their doors, we are watching churches lose members daily and if you look closely you can see God is wanting to purge our own personal lives as well. The purging is not hard to see. Dictionary.com defines purge as follows:

  1. to rid of whatever is impure or undesirable; cleanse; purify.

2.to rid, clear, or free (usually followed by of or from):

to purge a political party of disloyal members.

3.to clear of imputed guilt or ritual uncleanliness.

4.to clear away or wipe out legally (an offense, accusation, etc.) byatonement or other suitable action.

5.to remove by cleansing or purifying (often followed by away, off, orout).

6.to clear or empty (the bowels) by causing evacuation.

7.to cause evacuation of the bowels of (a person).

A friend of mine asked me to help her purge her house of needless things and little did I know how prophetic this activity was going to be for me. Being able to see this house before and now to see it after is extremely encouraging. Her family feels safer, thinks clearer and is proud of where they live again. They swallowed their pride, asked for help and we purged this house. It was hard at times, because we get attached to things we don’t realize were attached to, we have habits we did not realize we have and when you purge you see how much money you wasted. Purging brings about repentance which leads to life, so even though it was hard for her emotionally and me physically, we made it through this purging and all of us are proud of the final result.

God is purging the United States government, some don’t understand it, don’t like and have many opinions about it, but the purge is for the surge. The Lord is doing the same thing in our churches, He is purging the house of God for we have exchanged training for entertaining, we have exchanged holiness for donut holes and coffee bars. Mark 11:11 says, “Jesus entered Jerusalem and went into the temple courts. He looked around at everything, but since it was already late, he went out to Bethany with the Twelve.” One-day Jesus entered the temple to look around, I believe we have been in this day for longer than many realize. Jesus has done an inspection of our lives, of His house and of our nation and now we are living in the next day.

The next day, according to Mark 11:15-17 “On reaching Jerusalem, Jesus entered the temple courts and began driving out those who were buying and selling there. He overturned the tables of the money changers and the benches of those selling doves, and would not allow anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts. And as he taught them, he said, “Is it not written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have made it ‘a den of robbers.’” I believe we living in the day of the purge, it is not going to be easy, nor is it fun, but it is necessary. If you want to enter the third day, the day of the surge, you must go through the day of the purge. The purge is not punishment, it is promotion, because the purge is for the surge.

Dictionary.com defines surges as follows:

1.a strong, wavelike, forward movement, rush, or sweep

2.a strong, swelling, wavelike volume or body of something

3.a sudden, strong increase or burst

4.Military. a significant increase in the number of troops deployed to anarea.

5.the rolling swell of the sea.

6.the swelling and rolling sea

7.a swelling wave; billow.

The prophets have been telling us a wave is coming, a harvest is coming, an increase is coming, what they have been prophesying is the surge that is coming. However, before the surge, there has to be a purge and that is what we are seeing, the purge, but take heart, rejoice, get ready, because if you are experiencing or experienced the purge, that means God is preparing you for the surge, the purge is for the surge!

Great Spiritual Awakenings have swept the world over the centuries. They have changed lives and the very culture in which we live. An Awakening is a special time when God comes down and saturates a place and a people with His presence. There is a final Great Awakening coming.
100 Year Old Prophecies of Revival Are About to Be Fulfilled!

The great Azusa Street Awakening, which over the years resulted in 600 million being swept into the Kingdom of God and gave birth to the Pentecostal Movement, began in 1906. It was one of the greatest outpourings of the Spirit of God since Pentecost. Multitudes were saved, healed, and filled with the Holy Spirit. Incredible miracles occurred.

This great revival moved from Los Angeles to its new focal point of Chicago, Illinois. The two great centers of revival in Chicago were the North Avenue Mission and the Stone Church. Pentecost swept from Chicago to Canada, Europe, South America and Africa. One of the greatest outpourings occurred at Stone Church in 1913. The renown evangelist Maria Woodworth Etter began a revival on July 2, 1913 at Stone Church.

The services were to last until the end of July but continued for six months. This was a time of divine appointment for the city of Chicago; God rent the heavens and came down!! Scenes from the days of the Early Church began to occur at Stone Church. Word began to spread throughout Chicago of miraculous healings, deliverance from demonic possession, conversions, and of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit happening in these meetings. Advertisement was no longer necessary! The city was incredibly shaken.

Word spread of the miraculous intervention of God. Thousands came on trolleys, buggies, and trains, while many walked. Some came from distances of 1,600 miles away. 1200 to 1500 packed into Stone Church each night. The basement was filled and many stood out on the street. Street meetings were held to accommodate them. Three services were held on Sundays!

As Christians prayed around the altar one evening, Sister Woodworth-Etter and others gave the following powerful prophecy and divine promise, which they prophesied would occur within 100 years of the 1913 Chicago Visitation. She prophesied of this coming End Time Revival….

“We are not yet up to the fullness of the Former Rain and that when the Latter Rain comes, it will far exceed anything we have seen!”

Rev. William Seymour, the leader of the Azusa Street Awakening, also prophesied that in 100 years there would be an outpouring of God’s Spirit and His Shekinah Glory that would be greater and more far reaching than what was experienced at Azusa.

It has been almost 100 years since these prophecies were given. In my own beloved church, I am seeing the beginnings of this prophecy being fulfilled. Young adults, married couples, youth and older adults are being converted. We have set up a new converts class in which 22 are enrolled! Our nursery, which for so long was near empty, is now crowded. Healing and miracles are occurring! The anointing of the Holy Spirit on the services is heavy and growing each week. Something IS happening!! I believe that we have reached the time of the fulfillment of these 100 year old prophecies. We must be diligent to pray, intercede and protect what the Lord is doing. We must encourage and edify one another as never before. We must crucify every critical, judgmental and religious spirit that may be within us. We must put on the holiness and righteousness of Christ. Our time of divine destiny has come. We are about to experience what Brother Seymour and Sister Woodworth-Etter foresaw. God is about to rend the heavens and come down! The greatest revival in the history of the church is at hand!

Comfortable with Contradictions

Repentance, Revival, William Branham

One of the signs of the times we live in is that we as believers in Jesus the Christ have become comfortable with contradictions. We believe you can be homosexual and Christian; we think it is okay to be having sex outside of marriage and still believe we are on fire for God; we can go to movies about zombies and attend bible school; we can preach about and pray for revival, but never die to ourselves or make room for God in our services; all with no thought that these things may be contradictions that we are comfortable with, but God is not.

Revelation 3:14-19 says, “Write this letter to the leader of the church in Laodicea: “This message is from the one who stands firm, the  faithful and true Witness of all that is or was or evermore shall be, the primeval source of God’s creation: “I know you well—you are neither hot nor cold; I wish you were one or the other! But since you are merely lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth! “You say, ‘I am rich, with everything I want; I don’t need a thing!’ And you don’t realize that spiritually you are wretched and miserable and poor and blind and naked. “My advice to you is to buy pure gold from me, gold purified by fire—only then will you truly be rich. And to purchase from me white garments, clean and pure, so you won’t be naked and ashamed; and to get medicine from me to heal your eyes and give you back your sight. I continually discipline and punish everyone I love; so I must punish you unless you turn from your indifference and become enthusiastic about the things of God.” (TLB Translation)

William Branham a well-known healing revivalist says, the seven churches in the book of Revelation are seven church ages and he believes, we are living the seventh church age (the church of Laodecia). Many known and unknown prophets today are declaring there is a remnant of people, who are entering into the promised land of the kingdom age, according to Branham this would be the Revelation 4 age, where His voice is like the sound of many waters. This aligns with the many prophetic words that have been seen and spoken about as a TIDAL WAVE of God’s glory that is coming to the United States and the World. It also confirms what I have seen as a much needed reformation in the body of Christ.

Many are comfortable with contradictions; but some are ready to move into the unknown with Jesus as the head. They have learned obedience through suffering, they have met with Jesus outside the city gates, they have been tested and tried in the fires of affliction and they are still standing. Many have been stripped of everything they once thought valuable, only to find the pearl of great price. They have a fierce love for God and people, but zero tolerance for lukewarm Christianity; they may not be understood, but they have understanding; they live with mystery, because they have a history with God. These ones are not comfortable with contradictions, both obvious and obscure. They have learned to discern the wheat from the chaff; the light from the darkness; the truth from a lie. They are not popular, but they are faithful and they are ready to cross over.

Saul and the army of Israel was comfortable with the contradiction of being dressed like soldiers, but scared of a short sighted man named Goliath. Samson was comfortable with contradictions, so he lost his vision when the enemy poked out his eyes. Solomon was comfortable with contradictions, because he was the wisest man on the earth at that time, but fell prey to the lust of foreign women. If these once mighty men of God could go from humble, hungry and teachable, to comfortable with contradictions and not recognize it, how come we think we can’t become the same and not recognize it.

Paul wrote a strong letter to the church in Corinth, confronting them for being comfortable with contradictions, this is not anything new, but it is just as dangerous. I am pleading with you, because the time is very near for God to sweep across the earth with His glory and for some it is going to be a day of weeping (repentance), while for others it will be a day of rejoicing (rewards), and you decide what kind of a day it will be for you. As for me and my house, we will not be comfortable with contradictions, no matter how unpopular it is.

American, Awakening, Europe, France, Revival, Truth

As I was in prayer for France this morning the Lord spoke to me and said, “Europe went from awakened to asleep and while they slept the enemy sowed tares among them. Europe is about to experience another great awakening.” Some of the greatest revivalists that many in the world today admire were born in Europe, there are wells of revival that have been stopped up so the people could not drink, but God is about to open them once again. Men like John and Charles Wesley; Duncan Campbell (Hebrides Revival); Smith Wigglesworth; Evan Roberts and John Dowie. As this nation experiences a great awakening, these seeds of revival that are so much apart of the DNA of this continent are going to arise. Europe is on the cusp of a major awakening and the current situations that are coming against them will wake up this nation. Europe will re-dig the wells of their fathers, just as Isaac did in Genesis 26, watch Europe for the beginning of another Great Awakening and for revivalists to come from there and go to the nations yet again.
As I finished praying for France, the Lord led me to pray for America and what I heard the Lord say was, “America has relinquished her authority, it was not stolen from her, she was deceived into giving it away. I have made America a storehouse (distribution center) of truth for the nations and she will become that again.” America has been a storehouse for the nations for many years, but as we have been slowly being deceived, we have relinquished our authority out of our ignorance. Galatians 3:1 says, “You foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you?…”  Paul had spoken the truth to the people of Galatia, but they had become deceived, for they started believing a lie, rather than the truth. America is just like Galatia, we have been bewitched, we have been deceived by the anti-Christ spirit. But God has created this nation to be a storehouse for the nations, so there is going to be a revival of truth in this land. America will know the truth and the truth will set her free (John 8:32). Once we have a revival of truth, we will see a revival of our authority, for truth and authority are inseparable.
Finally, I believe that when Europe has a great awakening and America has a revival of truth, the two nations will become like wonder twin powers that activate the greatest move of God the world has ever seen. America will distribute truth to the nations again and Europe will release revivalists to the world again, we are on the verge of a revival of truth that is going to look a lot like Mt. Carmel (I Kings 18), where the fire fell and the people said, Yahweh is God! Yahweh is God! Two nations…two words
