Darkness marches on as though God is unaware; evil increases as though God will do nothing; the enemy is taking prisoners freely, as though there is no deliverer; wickedness flaunts itself on t.v, in movie theatres, magazines and newspapers around the world as though they are in control; but God is going to suddenly turn on the light of His glory, without notice, He is going to show up and darkness will flee. The enemy is throwing a party that many are engaged in, but when the glory comes down and the darkness flees, people will be seen in shameful places.

The Lord has been speaking, He has been calling people out of these systems of darkness, but many have shut their ears to His voice, because of the benefits they are receiving from the systems. They were lured in with promises of wealth, women, promotion, position, etc. and many went like sheep to the slaughter, not knowing it is a trap. My people are trapped in systems of debt; sexually immoral systems; governmental and political systems; and religious systems. God has been making a way of escape, but you have refused to leave, let go, say no. The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye and the pride of life have trapped you and you think no one sees, no one notices. But God has been calling out to you, you hear His voice, but you refuse to come out. You have been warned of the coming disaster/judgement, but you think you will escape.

The door of escape is about to close, the opportunity to exit is coming to an end, once the door is shut, your decision will be final. This is yet another call to come out of her. Fear is keeping you bound, but if you will yield and say yes to the voice of God, the Lord will set you free. Come out of her My people, don’t delay, the door of exit is about to close.

The Trouble with Time

Psalm 146:5 says, “Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the Lord his God, Who made the heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them; Who keeps truth forever…”

I have been wrestling with a question for a while now, that God laid on my heart. The question is what do you want? On the surface it sounds like it should have such an easy answer, almost anyone can rattle off a list of things they want. But, for me, this was a nagging question, a wrestling question, a very hard question. The reason it was such a hard question for me is because to share what I want, what I really want, is to share my heart. My wants are so deeply connected to my dreams, my desires, my hearts cry, that to answer that question would mean opening my heart and pouring it out to the Lord. I guess that is why I do not share what I want, I don’t want to be disappointed, I don’t want someone to tell me I can’t have what I want, I don’t want someone to trample on my heart.

As I have been meditating on this question, not for minutes, hours or days, but weeks, months and even for years, I have come to realize that I want to be free. What do I want? I want to be free! Free to love, free to give, free to dance, free to sing, free to shout, free to be loved, free to be cherished, free to speak, free to listen, free to be me. What do I want, I want to be free. Not a surface freedom that says, I’m free, I mean really free. I want to be free from others opinions of me, I want to be free to let people know me and love me, I want to be free to express my dreams, my desires, my hopes. I want to be free!

To some, this is hard to understand, but for others they are connecting with this want. You see, I have been a Christian for 25 years, and the Bible tells me who the Son sets free is free indeed, but I do not feel free to be me. I do not feel like there is freedom to express my gifts, express my heart, express who I am and I do not hear others doing it either. There is a certain way to talk, a certain way to act, a certain protocol to follow. It feels so restricting, so binding, so not free. But why is this, why is the place I am called to impact not free, why are the people who know Jesus not free?

I believe the reason is because of time. The trouble with time is that it restricts us, it confines us, it binds us. Why do we set a time limit on worship? Why does the Pastor feel like he has spoken too long? Why do we always feel like we have to know what time it is? Time is a freedom foe, for it always makes us feel like we have to be somewhere. It robs us of the ability to enjoy the moment, the journey, the experience. Until we stop having to always be somewhere, we will never experience the freedom of a God that is timeless.

When we speak prophetic words over people, or when we read promises in the word of God, we put a time limit on them in our minds and if they are not fulfilled in the time frame we have set, we get disappointed. I have never heard God put a time frame on any promise He has given me? People put time frames on promises, prophecies and proclamations, God doesn’t. Jesus even said, “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels or heaven, but My Father only” (Matthew 24:36). Imagine what life would be like if we did not have to worry about time? We would be like a bird, a rabbit, a whale. We would be free to be who we were created to be!

Fear is fueled by time; anxiety is given expression because of time; panic sets in when we look at the clock; but our faith is fueled, set on fire, by a promise. Time is our trouble. God knows what time it is, He made the day and the night, the seasons and the seconds. He is fully aware of what time it is. He knows your biological clock is ticking; He knows the world says you are too old to be married; He knows you need that job; He knows the rent is due on that day; He knows. If He gave you a promise, He knows at what time it needs to be fulfilled. The trouble with time is that it takes us out of faith. Faith lives outside of time and this is where freedom lives. What do you want? I want to be free, so for me, I can’t be worried about the time.

The Scattered Are Being Gathered

Ezekiel 34 speaks of 3 groups of people, the shepherds (v.1-10); the sheep (v.17-22) and the scattered (v.11-16 and 23-31). Knowing which group you are in will help you to understand what God is speaking to you. The covenant promise of peace and all the blessings that come with that are not for everyone in this chapter, it is for the scattered. As I was meditating on this chapter today, the Lord ministered to my heart about the great gathering that is taking place right now. God, Himself is gathering the scattered.

Ezekiel 34:11-13 “‘For thus says the Lord God: “Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. As a shepherd seeks out his flock on the day he is among his scattered sheep, so will I seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered on a cloudy and dark day. And I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land.”

George Barna is quoted as saying that 30% of Christians are outside of the church right now, while 70% are inside, but within 5 years or less, 70% of Christians will be outside of the church and only 30% will be inside. Whether in the church or outside of it, God is gathering His scattered ones, who have been driven out, walked out, or stepped out of the church system. God is not mad at those who are scattered, actually if you read Ezekiel 34, the Lord says, Woe to the shepherds, the Lord judges the sheep, goats and rams (leaders in the church) and He is in search of the scattered. If you are a scattered one, you are blessed because God is gathering us even right now.

But what is He gathering us into? He is gathering us into His flock. The Lord says, “I will feed My flock, and I will make them lie down” (Ezekiel 34:15). He is placing one shepherd over us, remember Psalm 23, He is establishing a covenant of peace with us, He is our God and we are His people (Psalm 100).

It is a great time in history to be alive. What may look at sound like heresy to those who can only see with their natural eyes is actually a gathering of all those who are sheep that want a shepherd. We have many people who bear the name shepherd, stand in the place of a shepherd and think we are just wandering sheep. The truth is, inside the 4 walls of a church or outside of them is a large, significantly large group of people who have been scattered, they are broken, they are hurting, they are saying, “there must be more than this”. Something inside of them is searching for truth, seeking a shepherd. And what they are going to find is God, Himself.

“You are My flock, the flock of My pasture; you are men/women, and I am your God, says the Lord!” (Ezekiel 34:31)

A lot of people hear the gathering call, many are leaving the system that has bound them and are finding they are misunderstood, but yet, they hear the call and so they follow. “My sheep, hear My voice, and they follow Me.” (John 10) Follow the voice of your shepherd, His name is Jesus and He will give you a place to rest your weary soul. His yoke is easy and His burden is truly light. The scattered are being gathered.

What Is Your Song

Zephaniah 3:17 says, “…the Lord rejoices over you with singing!”

The God Molecule

There is a tribe in Africa where the birth date of a child is counted not from when they were born, nor from when they are conceived but from the day that the child was a thought in its mother’s mind. And when a woman decides that she will have a child, she goes off and sits under a tree, by herself, and she listens until she can hear the song of the child that wants to come. And after she’s heard the song of this child, she comes back to the man who will be the child’s father, and teaches it to him. And then, when they make love to physically conceive the child, some of that time they sing the song of the child, as a way to invite it.

And then, when the mother is pregnant, the mother teaches that child’s song to the midwives and the old women of the village, so that when the child is born, the old women and the people around her sing the child’s song to welcome it. And then, as the child grows up, the other villagers are taught the child’s song. If the child falls, or hurts its knee, someone picks it up and sings its song to it. Or perhaps the child does something wonderful, or goes through the rites of puberty, then as a way of honoring this person, the people of the village sing his or her song.

In the African tribe there is one other occasion upon which the villagers sing to the child. If at any time during his or her life, the person commits a crime or aberrant social act, the individual is called to the center of the village and the people in the community form a circle around them. Then they sing their song to them.

The tribe recognizes that the correction for antisocial behavior is not punishment; it is love and the remembrance of identity. When you recognize your own song, you have no desire or need to do anything that would hurt another.

And it goes this way through their life. In marriage, the songs are sung, together. And finally, when this child is lying in bed, ready to die, all the villagers know his or her song, and they sing—for the last time—the song to that person.

You may not have grown up in an African tribe that sings your song to you at crucial life transitions, but life is always reminding you when you are in tune with yourself and when you are not. When you feel good, what you are doing matches your song, and when you feel awful, it doesn’t. In the end, we shall all recognize our song and sing it well. You may feel a little warbly at the moment, but so have all the great singers. Just keep singing and you’ll find your way home.

Numbers 13:33  “There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” (NKJV)

My husband taught me a great question to ask when you hear something that is seemingly unfounded, the question is, who said? This is the question I asked as I finished my study of Numbers 13 today. Who said the enemies of Israel (the Amalakites, Hittities, Jebusites, Amorites and Canaanites) saw them as grasshoppers? Did the 12 leaders of the 12 tribes of Israel speak to these various enemies and ask them how they viewed them? How did they know this is how they saw them? Fear has a way of causing us to believe something that may or may not be the truth. The truth is, 11 of the 12 spies saw themselves as grasshoppers. When they looked at their enemies, they saw themselves as grasshoppers. Their perspective of themselves is what drew them to the conclusion that their enemies viewed them the way they viewed themselves.

What we believe about ourselves is what we believe others think about us as well. If we think we are nothing, we think that is how others view us. If we think we are “all that”, we tend to believe that is how others view us. Actually, we have no idea how others see us, unless they are willing to tell us or we are willing to ask them. Whether you err on the side of thinking too highly of yourself or on the side of not thinking highly enough about yourself, neither is relevant. Some people will think more highly of you than you think of yourself, others will think less of you than you think about yourself. Either way, your belief about yourself may be and more often than not is different than their view of you.

My best friend believes things about me, that I struggle to believe about myself. She says things to me, does things for me and gives things to me as tokens of her confidence in who I am. This gives me courage to believe, despite my circumstances and surroundings that I am going to do what I believe God has called me to do. She lifts my belief in myself and I gain courage because of her belief in me. The only reason I know this is because she tells me what she thinks about me. The same is true with the Lord, His word is filled with His thoughts about us. He says we are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:1); that His thoughts toward us are good and not evil (Jeremiah 29:11); that we are created in His image (Genesis 1:26); that we are no longer servants, now He calls us friends (John 15).

We have nothing to fear because greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world; if we abide in Him and He abides in us, we can ask whatever we want and it will be done for us; no weapon formed against us shall prosper and if our God is for us, who can be against us! What you see in yourself is not what your enemy sees in you, you are stronger than you realize, smarter than you give yourself credit for, bearing more fruit than you can see. DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE?

The Greatest Reward

dubious, Family, fast, Father, fear of the Lord, tithing

If you have been in church for any length of time, you have heard Malachi 3 spoken, preached on or proclaimed in a service. The famous question, will a man rob God? has led people to convince us to give a tenth of our income to the church, which I believe is a discipline we should be consistent in. But, this is more than an issue of money, it is about our belief system. Giving our money without the right beliefs will lead to more problems than rewards. I don’t know about you, but I have been tithing for my whole Christian life, yet I have yet to see the promises of Malachi 3 manifest in my life and that is what led me to this revelation. I know God would not say it, if He was not going to do it, so the question that lead to the revelation is where is the disconnect and this is what I learned.

Those who don’t tithe curse themselves (Malachi 3:8-9), but those who do tithe need to ask themselves if they are dubious. Dubious means doubtful; questionable; of uncertain outcome; wavering or hesitating in opinion; inclined to doubt; unclear; undecided; hesitant. We can give our tithe out of obedience and be dubious in our thoughts about if God is really going to reward, return or bless us like He said He would (Malachi 3:10-11). When we do not see an instant return on our financial investment, the enemy can use time to make us dubious in our beliefs about the reward, the return or the promised blessing. I don’t know about you, but I had to repent of being dubious.

Malachi 3:13-15 speaks of the harsh words we have said against God, not necessarily out loud, but in our hearts, in our thoughts, in our attitudes, in our actions. When promises do not manifest when we think they should, we are prone to becoming dubious and in our impatience we complain, get frustrated and stop giving. Most people, myself included are completely oblivious to the truth we are robbers or complainers and have become dubious. So, what is going on with all the prophesies, the arrival of the Kingdom Age and everything we are hearing about?

I believe, God is once again starting with Malachi 3, he is sending His messengers to prepare the way for He is here as a Father, the orphans are being brought into families, where provision, protection, safety is assured and we will cease to be beggars. We will give without fear of lack, because we have a Father who provides for everything we need. Then all nations will call us blessed (leaders, guides), we will be valuable, desirable, acceptable, delightful, pleasurable in the eyes of the nations, because we have a Father and we are apart of a family. We will go from being orphans to be sons and daughters and people will take notice.

We will not longer be dubious, but we will be remembered as those who feared the Lord and meditated on His name, and we shall be His! Then there will be a demarcation between the righteous and the wicked, between family members and those who are yet to know they have a Father in heaven.

Don’t quit, the day is fast approaching, all that we have labored for will be revealed and rewarded, if it has not been already, for the greatest reward is the realization that we have a Father and we are apart of a family.

Sing, O Barren

Isaiah 54:1 says, Sing, O barren, you who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman, says the Lord.”

Singing was what God used to water those who were barren, in the desert, in the wilderness. Singing is water, it wets the dry places of our lives. When we sing, when we worship, we make the barren places fruitful, the dry places wet again. When worship is not valued in a church, that church will become a dry place and will be filled with dry people. Worship is water, that is why the call to sing.

I did a word study on the word barren and what I discovered blew my mind, barren means twisted, perverted, torn up by the roots, distortion, it is the place of the scorpion spirit. Now I am not one to chase demons, but when it is brought to my attention, I listen carefully to what the Lord is saying. This is what I learned as I studied this out. The scorpion spirit is found in dry places. Follow me here, many just finished a desert season, some are on the way out of it, others are still in it. The desert, which is a dry place, is where the scorpion spirit lives. According to Revelation 9:5 this spirit is a tormentor, it is sent to vex with grievous pains in the body and mind. It stings and it strikes, the sting is a deadly weapon, the strike is a single blow. Have you ever felt sucker punched by the enemy in a dry place? The king of the scorpion spirit is Abaddon, who is a destroying angel, the prince of infernal regions, a minister of death. Dueteronomy 8:15 reminds us that scorpion spirits live in dry places.

Did you ever feel like you were stung by people’s words or actions while you were in the desert place? Did it poison your soul? A whole generation died in the wilderness because they got bit by the scorpion spirit and it poisoned their minds, their hearts, their emotions. The scorpion spirit is destructive in nature, it stings you. Many of us know this spirit, for we have been stung by it, but it could not kill us.

Luke 10:19-20 says, I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”

Sing, O barren, for singing waters your soul, it accelerates the process of leaving the dry places, it allows you to grow in every area of your life. Knowing what happened to us in the dry place, helps us love those who are still there. I know I was stung by the scorpion spirit and I had no idea what hit me and kept hitting me. But God is able to Psalm 91 us if we stay in the word, we sing and we let His perfect love cast out all fear.

Open Up the Gates

09 Wednesday Jul 2014

All year long prophetic words have been spoken based on the Hebrew calendar which notes this is the year of open doors. People are believing and praying for open doors and rightfully so, for this is the season of the open door and we do not want to miss it. But did you know, that a door is an entry way or an opening, but a gate, which is used 375 times in the Bible, is talked about more often than a door, but is not talked about nearly as much in our conversations.

“The gate was the center of city life in biblical times. Originally designed to defend a city against attack, this massive structure soon became a combination of community center, city hall, and marketplace. People paid their taxes in the city gate, and officials settled legal matters there. Prophets prophesied and kings ruled in the gate. Shops and markets around the gate provided for the people’s daily needs. Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. In the gate, Boaz established his legal right to marry Ruth. Absalom won the affection of Israel in the gate. The Bible predicts the return of the Messiah for the Last Judgment in the symbolism of the Eastern Gate of Jerusalem. When we understand these complex structures, we have a “window” on life in biblical times. (That The World May Know. Teacher’s Guide I, p. 14.)

As I was in prayer this morning, the Lord said to me, “I am opening major cities around the world to my glory!” Immediately the Lord led me Psalm 24:7 which says, “Lift up your heads, O you gates! and be lifted up you, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in”. Gates are being opened to public meeting places, cities, towns, palaces, royal castles, temples and even heaven itself. We need to keep praying for open doors, but I believe the Lord said, we need to declare the gates be lifted up, so the King of Glory can come in.

Earlier this week, I got a picture of a Trojan horse and the Lord said, just as they were hidden in that horse as they entered the city gate, so we are hidden in Christ. The King of Glory wants us to pray that the gates of cities, public places, palaces, etc. will be opened and as He, the King of Glory goes in, we go in with Him. Now is the time to pray for the lifting up of the ancient and modern gates.

Blessings, Christianity, church, Kingdom, maturity, prosperity

I was watching a documentary called Broke the other day, the premise of it was about NFL players who made millions, but went broke or had to file bankruptcy and what they did was dig into the reality of how and why this happened. How could someone making millions of dollars one year be broke the next? Here is what they discovered, what the Lord spoke to me and what I learned after meditating on this.

In the mid 1990’s NFL players went from making tens of thousands of dollars to making millions to multi millions of dollars. It was such a drastic increase in pay, that no one was prepared for the problems it would bring to the players. At the same time in history, President Bill Clinton declared the country was at an Apex of financial prosperity, the housing market was booming and people were spending at unprecedented rates. Everything looked and sounded it of prosperity. In Silicon Valley the technology boom was born, Microsoft was growing, Google came on the scene, Apple was arising, money was pouring into our country, our lives, our businesses from every direction. Everything we touched as Americans was turning to gold, the keeping up with the Jones’ was alive and active and we as a nation looked and sounded prosperous.

There was just one problem, it hit us so fast and furious, that many were not prepared to handle the prosperity that was being poured out, others wanted to look prosperous, so they bought houses they could not afford and got into insurmountable debt. As a nation, as a people we did not have the infrastructure in place to handle the blessing (or what we thought was a blessing) that was being poured out on us. NFL players who had no financial training, but were making millions, spent all the money they made, The documentary said, many players were living from paycheck to paycheck and they were making hundreds of thousands of dollar each check. One guy said he got a black American Express card, that arrived in a silver briefcase and he spent $108,000 in one month on that card, when he got the bill, he was in shock and asked himself, what did I buy.

Millions of Americans during the prosperity of the 90’s and early 2000’s went into debt in order to keep up with the lifestyle that was being displayed in rap videos like Mo Money, Mo Power and Let It Rain, which spoke of money raining down. What we did not see coming was that as fast as that balloon of prosperity rose, it would pop at the same rate. In the late 2000’s the housing market crashed, Ponzi schemes were revealed, professional ball players were going bankrupt and people lost millions.

While watching this documentary, the Lord spoke to me and said, “The Church has been called to lead, but they chose to follow.” After I heard the Lord say this, I immediately went to the internet to find out when the prosperity gospel began. Here is what Wikipedia says about when it began, “In the 1990s and 2000s, it was adopted by influential leaders in the Charismatic Movement and promoted by Christian missionaries throughout the world, sometimes leading to the establishment of mega-churches.” God knows everything, He knew exactly what I would come to discover, I was blown away. The Church has been called to lead the world, but we have chosen to follow it.

In the 90’s and 2000’s the Church began to preach the prosperity gospel, many people jumped on this bandwagon, for a variety of reasons, many of which they are not even aware. Churches began to make millions of dollars, making promises of prosperity if only the people gave. Many verses we quote today, became popular then, making promises to people about what God would do for them financially if only they “sowed a seed”. The message worked then, because everyone was trying to not miss out on this season of prosperity that was being poured out, I mean look at how the Pastor dresses, what the Pastor drives, where the Pastor lives and the people wanted a piece of the pie. The problem is, what we sowed then we are reaping now.

Due to the fact that many of the verses that were quoted, which convinced people they would prosper were taken out of context. Meaning,  the verses did not promise what we were being told they would, in context and so now people have given more than they could in order to get what they were being promised. However, since they did not “reap what they sowed”, we have a generation today who does not believe the word of God works, is trustworthy or even applies to them. Many Christians are spiritually bankrupt, they are broke or broken, because the Church did not lead, but chose to follow.

BUT GOD…

God has opened a new door of opportunity for the church to lead, yet again. We are being called to lead by throwing our whole selves into the presence of God, by trusting Him with our hearts, not our heads. He is revealing that perfect love casts out all fear; that He is a loving Father, who wants to bind up the broken hearted, set the captives free, and pour out blessings on us that will make us rich forever. He is revealing what real prosperity looks like, He is making us lovers of God and of people, He is establishing the infrastructure of our lives, our families, our communities, our countries, our churches. He is not mad at us for the mistakes we made in the past, for the kindness of God leads us to repentance and He has opened a door for a relationship with Him that is more intimate, more passionate, more powerful than anything money could buy. This is the day we live in, right now. All you have to do is believe again, trust again, love again, forgive again.

The Lord is maturing His sons and daughters, so they are lacking nothing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. All you have to do is return the embrace, for His arms are stretched wide to us, yet again. The call to lead still remains, but it looks very different than before. This is not about one man, one woman, one ministry, it is about the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. It is about the restoration of the five fold ministry, the revalidation of truth, the renewing of our minds and the love of God being shed abroad in our hearts. We will lead as lovers and the world will follow. It is a great time to be alive!

My Journey from Christendom to the Kingdom

journey

About two months ago, while I was in prayer, I sensed I was moved from one world to another. As I was meditating on this “feeling” I was having, the Lord spoke to me and said you just went through the narrow gate which leads to life. I immediately got out my Bible and looked up this verse, I found it in Matthew 7:13-14, which says, “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” What the Lord highlighted to me is that this was a gate, it was a place to pass through and that I had so narrowed my life, by being obedient to His voice in both big and small matters, that I had now entered into life. In this experience, I pictured myself going through this very narrow gate and once through, I was in this other world, but my back was against the gate, for everything was new to me.

2-3 weeks into this new realm of existence, I began to “feel” like I don’t fit anywhere, anymore. I would go to church, but things they said did not resonate with this new existence; I would listen to friends talk and I felt like I was an alien; I would go to work and my heart would break for people like never before. This was all brand new to me, then I heard a sermon by TD Jakes while at the gym and he said, when you enter a new realm, don’t speak about things you know nothing about, listen, learn and let others lead you. So, I did not try to figure out what I was doing or what was going on, all I knew is that I had entered LIFE.

Now 5-6 weeks into this, listening, learning, loving, I called my friend Prophet Ron McGatlin and told him what I was experiencing and asked him what he thought was going on with me. He said I had joined the ranks of those who had crossed over into the kingdom age. He went on to share about the love of God that is so pure and unadulterated; he spoke of loving people; losing the desire for position, preaching and promotions; he spoke about others who have crossed over, entered in, were experiencing the same thing. My heart was burning, I knew this was God, I knew this was what had happened to me, but I knew I was struggling to trust God. My back was still against the wall of this gate, I was in, but I was not operating, flowing, enjoying what  was hearing. It was like I was watching it all happen around me, but God was inviting me to join in. As I shared this with Ron, he said, yes someone else we both know was struggling with the same thing. I then went on to tell him, I feel like I am on the edge of a cliff and every time the Lord says, 1…2…3… I back away, afraid to jump. He said, yes, but know perfect love casts out all fear, His love is perfect, there is nothing to fear.

I got off the phone with Ron and I cried out to the Lord and asked Him to reveal to me what was holding me back, why was I afraid to jump. The Lord said, Proverbs 3:5, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” There it was again, that word trust. I thought I had trusted God, I thought since being a Christian for 25 years, that I trusted Him, but He kept saying, this is a trust issue. Then as I allowed the love of God to penetrate my inner most being, He unearthed the truth, that I did not trust Him. He said to me, “I wouldn’t say it, if I wasn’t going to do it.” Immediately, I remembered the verse in Numbers 23:19 that says, “God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” When I saw that I did not trust the One I loved so much, and heard Him speak these words, my heart melted in His presence, I wept and wept and got up and jumped off that cliff.

I have never experienced peace like this, love like this, joy like this, courage like this, it is almost hard to describe. There is an ease with which things happen, there is no rush, it is a rest like I have never known. As I watch the birds fly in the sky, I now understand the ease with which they soar, allowing the wind to carry them here and there; when I listen to the sound of the river flowing over the rocks, I now understand the strength of creation; and when I sit in the silence of the evening hours or the early daybreak, I now comprehend what it felt like to walk with God in the garden of Eden. Scripture has taken on a whole new light for me, life has been put in perspective, and there is only one pursuit I have, to know Him more.

I am 2 months into this journey and walking on water is my new normal. I have so much more to share, but there is time to do that on another post. Today, I just wanted you to know what happened to me, I was not wrong in what I believed before, I’ve just entered into more and so can you. Thank you Prophet Ron McGatlin, you have been saying it for many years and now it is here.

When my mind begins to drift to things other than Him, I remind myself, that He wouldn’t say it, if He wasn’t going to do it!
